Spanish subject (or personal) pronouns are very similar to English subject pronouns (she, they, etc). However, Spanish has both an informal and formal version of the second person pronoun (tú and usted), where English only has "you".
Also, Spanish is a "pro-drop" language, which means the subject can generally be implied from the verb tense. Thus, use of pronouns is optional and primarily for emphasis or clarification.
